Chloe Swift is a part-time on-site Fuel Testing Specialist, who has worked for Swift Aviation Services for 4 years. She holds a Fuel-Pulse Microbial Testing certification from Bell Performance and performs on-site fuel tests for clients across the country. Chloe is also certified to provide on-site training for fuel-pulse microbial testing to clients who wish to perform their own quarterly fuel testing.
Chloe graduated from Flowery Branch High School in 2021, and is a junior at Kennesaw State University, where she is double majoring in accounting and business. Chloe hopes to follow her degree with a master’s in accounting before she enters the full-time workforce. Chloe enjoys traveling and exploring new places, as well as spending time with friends and family. She loves sunshine and is happiest when she’s near the ocean.
Caleb Swift is an on-site Fuel Testing Specialist, who has worked for Swift Aviation Services for 4 years. He has a Fuel-Pulse Microbial Testing certification from Bell Performance and performs on-site fuel tests for clients across the country. Caleb is also certified to provide on-site training for the fuel- pulse microbial testing to clients who wish to perform their own quarterly fuel testing.
Caleb graduated from Flowery Branch High School in 2021, and attended Kennesaw State University for three semesters before realizing that academia was not for him. Caleb is based in Atlanta, GA and is pursuing a career in the aircraft fuel-testing business by working at growing this division of Swift Aviation Services. He enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends and his golden retriever, Nala. Caleb enjoys snowboarding, and is hoping to explore the Midwestern regions of the USA to find the perfect slope.
Melanie Swift is the Chief Executive Officer for Swift Aviation Services and is responsible for the daily administrative and accounting operations of the company, as well as overseeing customer administrative support. Melanie has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and industrial psychology from the University of Natal, South Africa and a bachelor’s degree of Interdisciplinary Studies from Western
Governor’s University in Utah.
Melanie has worked as an Executive Assistant for Wells Fargo Bank for four years prior to becoming a stay-at-home mother of twins. She decided to go back to school to become a teacher when the twins were toddlers and has enjoyed a rewarding career as an elementary school teacher for over the last ten years.
Melanie recently retired from her full-time teaching job so that she could concentrate on her administrative support role in Swift Aviation Services. Together with her husband, Tony, and their twins, Caleb and Chloe, she hopes to continue to grow the company and extend their services to customers across the country.
Melanie was born and bred in South Africa and enjoys traveling back to see family as well as to new places around the world. While not too many people know it exists, the U.S. Green Card Lottery is responsible for bringing Melanie and Tony to America – back in 1997, they were one of the lucky couples who won their Green Cards in the lottery! Fast forward twenty-six years, and six relocations to three different continents and here they are, settled in Atlanta, Georgia as full-fledged U.S. citizens.
Tony Swift is the Chief Operations Officer and Gulfstream Technical and Management Support Specialist for Swift Aviation Services and is responsible for on-site maintenance and support for several clients in the greater Atlanta area, as well as neighboring states. Tony has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and holds numerous aircraft certifications, including but not limited to a South Africa Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) aircraft and engine (A&E) license, the equivalent of a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) aircraft and power plant (A&P) license and is a certified Flight Safety International Master Technician for the Gulfstream G650/G650ER, G550/G500 and GV aircraft.
Prior to establishing Swift Aviation Services, Tony enjoyed a long and successful career with Gulfstream Aerospace. Over his 24 years with Gulfstream, Tony worked as a technician with the Savannah service drop-in crew and went on to become the mechanical team lead in the service center in Savannah. From October 2004 till June 2010, Tony was a member of the Gulfstream Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) team at Chievres Air Base in Belgium.
As a site lead, Tony managed the day-to-day maintenance of a C37-A (Gulfstream GV) aircraft for the U.S. Air Force. In July 2010, Tony joined the Gulfstream Field Service group as a Field Service Rep in New Jersey. Over the past 13 years, this position took Tony and his family from New Jersey to Cape Town, South Africa and then Atlanta, Georgia. In this position, Tony was responsible for responding to the technical support needs of Gulfstream customers throughout the area he supported. Tony is currently based in Atlanta, Ga.
A native of South Africa and a South African Air Force Veteran, Tony immigrated to America in hopes of furthering his career in the aviation and maintenance market. His passion for airplanes has
allowed him to not only further his knowledge and experience in a niche market but has also given him the opportunity to travel and explore the world while assisting and supporting clients. Tony enjoys spending time with family and friends, boating and fishing on the lake and is an avid Springbok Rugby Team supporter.
